The unfortunate truth about the digital marketing and copywriting arena is that most ‘copywriters’ and ‘marketers’ are frauds.
95%+ are duds, 5% are worth their weight in gold.
I’m (humbly) gunning for a 0.1% spot.
I come from a unique background when it comes to most writers.
I’ve worked across a broad spectrum of white collar and blue collar environments, including management consulting, direct mail sales, and operations management.
I have some talent for writing, sure. And a bit of luck, no doubt.
But I’ve paid my dues through years of hard work and study.
Over the years I’ve been a lot of things.
Actor, BDR, truck driver, forklift-certified blue collar lad, and a lot more.
But these days I’m interested in maximizing my potential as an artist-athlete-entrepreneur hybrid.
I don’t hold any significant achievements in any of those three categories.
I haven’t been featured in a gallery.
I haven’t won an Olympic race.
And I haven’t built a $100M+ company.
But these things give me meaning.
And I’m curious to see just how far I can go in each.
I’m fascinated by how people decide what to do with their life, how they find their niche, and how more of us can find the things we love, and connect with genuine passions.
